Interns' Comments

This was one of the most informative and valuable educational opportunities I have ever been afforded.
It was exciting, worthwhile, and most importantly, provided me with an idea of what I should be teaching my PSA students and several useful tools for teaching them.”

Debbie Adair,
Davis High School
Business: The Modesto Police Dept.

The internship at the courthouse was excellent and I would highly recommend that every Modesto City School business law teacher participate in it.  It would also be very beneficial for any other classroom teacher.  If I could be assigned to a business (like Gallo) that had a marketing department I would do this program again.”

Paul Cornwell,
Beyer High School
Business: Superior Court, Stanislaus County

“SPIE has created a well run and maintained program that allows the intern to gain knowledge with ease.  This experience will also allow current trends and practices to infiltrate my classroom curriculum equipping my students to be well prepared as they meet the needs of the medical industry in the future.”

Deborah Rowe,
Downey High School
Business: McHenry Medical Group
