"Dear SPIE, Thank you for providing me with the internship opportunity. I think this is a very worthwhile bridge between the business and school communities. The efforts and funds that SPIE devotes to the internship project is highly valued by me. The internship helped me more fully understand what businesses need schools to do to help students be successful in their future careers. I am hopeful that this knowledge will help me more fully prepare students to be successful in their future careers and for the students to become contributing members of our society." Thank you! - Mark Heinzinger, 4th grade teacher, Marshall Elementary School
