2026 Summer Youth Work Experience Program (WEX)

Get paid to learn! Stanislaus County Workforce Development is offering a 6-week Summer Youth Work Experience Program designed to help young adults transition into the professional world. Participants gain hands-on experience, explore career paths, and receive mentorship from professionals dedicated to their success. [Student Internship]

Program Details

  • Duration: 6 weeks (June through August 2026).
  • Compensation: $16.90 per hour for up to 24 hours per week.
  • Location: Residents of Stanislaus County.
  • Additional Perks: Support from Workforce Specialists and participation in the StandOut Youth Conference.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Age: Young people ages 17–21.
  • Education: Must be part of the graduating class of 2026 from high school or a junior college.
  • Residency: Must be a resident of Stanislaus County.
