The Modesto Chamber of Commerce Foundation is currently accepting applications for the Spring 2026 Trade Scholarship Fund. This scholarship supports students in the greater Stanislaus County region who are pursuing certificates in vocational trades, such as construction, automotive, culinary, and cosmetology.
Expanded Eligibility Updates
While the attached application outlines the standard requirements, the Foundation has clarified two important points for this cycle:
- Prospective Students: High school students who have not yet applied for a program but intend to enroll are encouraged to apply now.
- Current Students: Students who are currently enrolled and taking classes may apply to help cover remaining tuition fees.
- Verification: Please note that proof of enrollment/acceptance must be provided before any scholarship payment is issued.
Application Details
- Eligibility: Open to High School/HSE, GED, college, re-entry, or continuing students.
- Requirements: A completed application form and two essay responses (maximum 200 words each) regarding the applicant's background and career goals.
- Deadline: Friday, April 3, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
- Submission: Applications may be emailed to info@modchamber.org or hand-delivered to 1114 J Street, Modesto, CA 95354.
Timeline
Scholarship award announcements will be made by the Modesto Chamber of Commerce Foundation during the last week of April 2026.
